3 hours Shibori Hand dye Indigo workshop
All equipments and materials, plus refreshment.
Unlock your creativity & learn the ancient Japanese dyeing
technique of Shibori at this hands-on workshop.
Using natural indigo dye, you'll create beautiful patterns
&shape on fabric by folding, clamping, twisting & compressing cloth.
Leave with a beautiful silk scarf that you are proud of!
About Tutor:
Kiomi Campbell of designk is inspired by Japanese
Shibori hand dye textiles to make wide range of craft products.
Kiomi has been passionate about textiles, specialising in Japanese Shibori
since childhood as she was influenced by her grand parents who have been operating Kimono fabric shop, her parents
have been working as a Kimono dress maker in Japan. She has opened Shibori workshop in Melbourne Australia.

Cost: $90 for first session (includes materials)
$50 for second session (plus cost for materials)
-Maximum 6 participants
-No previous experience necessary
-Available other materials such as tea towel, apron, cotton/linen/silk scarf,
beeswax food wrap kit, tote bag can be purchased on the day
if times allows to produce more items.
-Please note that participants cannot bring their materials for dyeing
as we cannot guarantee the result.

Beeswax Foodwrap workshop
Get hands-on and create gorgeous beeswax wraps using fabrics perfect to keep food snug and safe and fresh. You will take home a selection of medium and large sized wraps.
